What does defining healthcare mean to you?

I spent much of my younger years volunteering and interning at local hospitals, where I loved the fast-paced environment and the communal drive to save and improve lives. While I started college with a plan to focus on life sciences, I quickly shifted gears and fell in love with numbers and accounting. In the years since, I have joined the rest of the adult population in experiencing healthcare from the other side - the challenges of finding the right providers, treatment, and care for unexpected circumstances. I believe there is so much impactful work to be done, and I am overjoyed to be able to utilize my accounting and finance background to better our healthcare system. 

What does defining partnership mean to you?

Since joining the venture world, I am constantly in awe of the drive and innovation that the industry fosters, as well as entrepreneurs' ability to wear all of the necessary hats in pursuit of their vision. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to not only witness their journey, but also partner with them along the way. 

What does defining leadership mean to you?

Supporting the builders whose beliefs, ideas and actions are working toward a better future at all levels, and for all people.
