What does defining healthcare mean to you?
My passion for healthcare stems from a desire to do impactful work and tackle meaningful problems. In my academic and professional career, I have had the privilege of working in several parts of the healthcare ecosystem, and I am excited to partner with companies that are redefining an industry ripe with innovation opportunity. As an undergraduate at Harvard, I studied Neurobiology and conducted thesis research at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. I have since taken on roles as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, as an operator at Evolent Health (NYSE: EVH), and as a healthcare investor at Bessemer Venture Partners. Most recently, I received an MBA from The Wharton School, where I served as Co-President of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Club and graduated from the Healthcare Management Program.

What does defining partnership mean to you?
Our partner companies, and many of the entrepreneurs I encounter everyday, are sharp, passionate, and mission-driven people that constantly reinvigorate my love for investing. Ultimately, I cherish the opportunity to not only invest in these entrepreneurs, but to build category-defining companies alongside them.

What does defining leadership mean to you?
A core element of leadership is daring to break down the industry siloes that often hinder innovation.  At Evolent Health (NYSE: EVH) I managed the strategic development and implementation of new value-based care initiatives for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Collaborating with cross-functional teams comprised of data scientists, physicians, and medical economists gave me an appreciation for the multi-disciplinary work required to lead and scale innovations in healthcare. My conviction is that the winners in digital health will embrace this complexity and develop solutions that sit at the nexus of traditional healthcare, consumer, and technology.
